Churros Game Studios is just me

Hi, I'm Tomek.

The front page says "a small independent studio from Poland." That's all true.

I've been taking games apart since I was eleven, when I drew a snowman into the sprite sheets of Little Fighter 2 so I could play as him. Years of RPG Maker and libGDX followed, then an Android app for lucid dreaming. Learning Android to build it accidentally turned into a ten-year career. I work part-time now, and I've spent the last few years back where I started - making games, this time in Godot. libGDX, Godot, Linux since 2008. Yup, I like my software free and open source.

Gravitten began as an excuse to learn the engine. Gravitten VR is the one I actually wanted to get to: it's the part of games I love most, and the place where I get to show why. Lately that has meant ten-hour sessions in modded Skyrim VR, which I am counting as research.

I handle all the code and game design myself. For the art, though, I know my limits. That Little Fighter 2 snowman was pretty much my artistic peak, so I bring in talented freelance artists whenever a game needs real visuals.

The original Gravitten reference material, meeting a 3D print of itself. The reception was lukewarm.

The email goes straight to me, and I'm in the Discord too. I read the bug reports, and I play the levels people build in the in-game editor.
